TRAFALGAR SINFONIA
BUY TICKETS for our summer concert series here
Originally founded by Ivor to accompany both the New London Singers and the Codina Singers, the Trafalgar Sinfonia quickly developed a reputation as an outstanding chamber orchestra in its own right. Now with an international following, it continues to attract some of the most talented and exciting young musicians, presenting a regular season of concerts in the heart of London at the famous St Martin-in-the-Fields and other venues. It also performs a wide repertoire of contemporary, classical and baroque music at a number of large-scale, prestigious venues including London's South Bank Centre, Cadogan Hall, and the Royal Albert Hall, as well as continuing to accompany a variety of choral groups.
The orchestra's most recent recordings include a collaboration with the New London Singers, a collection of English String Serenades, and, to widespread critical acclaim, a recording of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons featuring a contemporary companion piece, Anno, by Oliver Davis.
